I just love these old shape Range Rovers; I actually prefer this shape to the new one for some reason. I personally don’t think you will be able to buy such a brilliant all in one package for under 350k in any other vehicle. I mean this is the top of the range spec Range Rover, what more could you want.
In terms of luxury and spec it doesn’t get much better than this, coupled with its off-road capabilities, you are getting a FANTASTIC vehicle.
So, this particular model, it’s the face lift just before the new shape came out, it has the up graded clocks, media interface, head lamps ETC, it reminds me of an 8 speed Discovery 4 in many ways.
When I first laid eyes on it, I just knew that I wanted this car, so much so, that I was actually going to keep it for myself, simply because I love these older Range’s SO much. There is a reason Jeremy
Clarkson still drives one of these and the reason is, they are brilliant cars that can pretty much do anything. When driving around you would never guess or feel like you are driving an 11-year-old car,
they are so comfortable and luxurious. Even in today’s times.

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THIS CAR WHEN WE BOUGHT IT?
MECHANICAL:
- As always one of the first things we do with any Land Rover is send it through to our trusted
- LR specialist for a full check over and we repair whatever they advise us to.
- We have replaced the hand brake module, as this one wasn’t engaging any longer
- We did a major service
- We replaced both front door locks with new ones as they were not functioning any more
EXTERIOR:
- All 4 Tyres were about 30% tread left; we have replaced all 4 with brand new Dunlop’s
- Unfortunately, there were multiple scratches around the vehicle, they were all small, but still needed to be redone, we have resprayed front and rear bumpers, left fender, and the boot
- The front grille was slightly faded, we have resprayed the front grille.
INTERIOR:
- The driver’s seat was slightly worn from getting in and out, we have repaired the seat
After all of this work, I can safely say that you are purchasing one of the cleanest and best maintained Range Rovers in this price range, guaranteed.
