This is one beautiful example of the top of the range Discovery HSE, I love everything about especially the color, they don’t come around to often in this color.
When we purchase our Disco 4’s or any Land rover for that matter the most important check for us is always a mechanical check and full-service history. If cam belt hasn’t been done, we will always do it, it’s very important and will save you a lot of money down the line. This one checked out which is why you are seeing her advertised here today. We also always send our Land rovers for a full check at our trusted Land Rover specialist (they must love us because) and we always ask them to go through the entire vehicle and repair whatever needs to be repaired, unfortunately for us but fortunately for the new owner this bill was high, 38k high. When clients don’t attend to issues on Land Rovers and let them pileup this is what you end up with a big repair bill of very small items. But at least you know you are purchasing a very clean, mechanically sound Land Rover.
Be careful of “cheap ones” you will always end up paying more for them.
This is the top of the Range HSE spec, and the differences are huge, so please don’t compare this to the S or SE spec.

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THIS CAR WHEN WE BOUGHT IT?
EXTERIOR:
- We have resprayed all 4-wheel arches for stone chips
- The rear bumper had a deep scratch on it, we have resprayed the rear bumper
- All 4 mags had curb rash on them, we have refurbished all 4 alloy rims
- We resprayed the front grille
- We have ordered a new tow bar cover
INTERIOR:
- There was minor touch ups needed to be done on the interior, nothing major
MECHANICAL:
- We had to do front discs and pads, there was a small shudder when braking
- We fitted new upper control arm
- We fitted new lower control arms
- New drivers door lock
- Front and rear wiper blades
- New oil cooler, there was a small unnoticeable leak (well unnoticeable to us)
- New water housing connection
- Full check over
- Service
I feel great that we sent so much money on this vehicle, it just means the new owner won’t have to do it. And for us sometimes you win and the recon isn’t bad but sometimes it’s expensive. But either at the time of writing this advert, there were only 3 HSE’s online in this price range, and I can safely
say that this one is the best. I can also safely say that this vehicle will give the new owner many years of hassle-free motoring because of the amount of money we have spent on it.
